Thank you Hal Smith for your positive thouhgts on my grandfather Anthony Sbarbaro the ODJB drummer. I am upset for me and my father who were miffed when they left out grandpa'sname when saying what happened to the original five. My grandpa went on to a pretty distinguised career playing with Sidney Bechet, Fats Waller, Pee Wee Russell, phil Napolean Eddie Condon and many others and he was the farthest thing from a bigot as Fats Waller was over his house regularly. Not calling the ODJBthe Duke Ellington band, but they were not KENNY G either. Signed one proud grandson.
