It's a minor fault compared to how many majors there are here, but I did find it strange that in order to make the point that jazz is sexy and Black we have the bordello theory; later on, to imply that a Kansas City club owner was a hypocrite, they note that he was a Catholic who owned a wild jazz place.
And the most prevalent theory of the origins of the word jazz (from the French
"jasser"- to chat incessantly - was not mentioned). Obviously, this explanation
didn't fit into Canon Law.
