David: I think you have a better chance of hell freezing over than seeing black (or white) teenagers taking to this music. A few, perhaps, are somewhat interested in modern jazz but none of it compares to Puff Daddy, Ice Cube and heaven help us, hundreds of others of the same ilk. I think some programs try very hard to encourage kids i.e. "Young Audiences", "Horns for Kids" here in Connecticut but the "music", if one can call it that, of today's youth is NOT going our way. Good taste is in short supply!
